Digital Hub Companies to Develop Dublin’s Definitive Culture Trail
Temple Bar Cultural Trust in collaboration with a consortium of companies based in the Digital Hub have been awarded a cultural technology grant to develop a project which aims to give visitors to Dublin a taste of the ‘hidden’ cultural life of the city. This will be achieved by developing a virtual trail featuring a range of cultural venues.
Utilising a variety of the latest technologies, including a custom built website and an iPhone app, the Culture Trail will increase access to the wealth of cultural and creative activities going on in Dublin to the five million visitors who visit the city on an annual basis.
The project is being funded under the cultural technology grant scheme made available by the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport. The Digital Hub based companies involved are Software Design, Red Diamond Media and Davis Events.
