Sept 10th 2010 - Minister Ryan met with some of Ireland's up and coming digital technology companies at the Leads Exchange Networking Event held in the Digital Hub. The Digital Hub Leads Exchange Network are working and growing in areas such as software and web design, social networking and online PR and media. Minister Ryan also had the opportunity to meet with members of a new skills development programme, being run by the Digital Hub team, which trains people who are currently unemployed in web design and other services.

Speaking at the networking event, the Minister highlighted the importance of the digital industry, particularly for Ireland's exports in the years ahead and reaffirmed the Government's commitment to growing the sector.
