Since 2006 the exciting Irish finals of World Cyber Games have been held in The Digital Hub in Dublin. The competition has been played live on large screens in The Digital Hub’s flagship building, Digital Exchange, and watched by members of the public as well as gamers from all over Ireland and beyond; as the final competition has been relayed live online to a world wide audience.

World Cyber Games 2007 Irish Finals Last years exciting Irish final was held on Saturday 15th of September 2007. The event was open, not just to Ireland’s best gamers, but also members of the public who participated in games master classes, seminars, and demonstrations. There were three gaming areas: one dedicated to the PC tournament, one for the xBox tournament and a ‘bring your own machine’ warm-up area. Seven players were selected to represent Ireland in the 2007 World Cyber Games Grand Final in Seattle.

World Cyber Gamers 2006 Irish Finals Team Ireland 2006 was selected during a mammoth 24 hour tournament starting on Saturday 23rd of September 2006. There were three gaming areas: one dedicated to the PC tournament, one for the xBox tournament and a ‘bring your own machine’ warm-up area. Members of the public were encouraged to come and look at what was happening. Seven players were selected to represent Ireland in the World Cyber Games 2006 final in Monza, Italy.
