The WebActivate programme has now entered the second phase where participants will work with SME's to produce an online presence. In this video, participant Kelly Sparks and tutor Jane Ruffino speak about the programme so far and what the students have learned. WebActivate is a programme by Digital Skills Academy, and is supported by The Digital Hub, as well as Chambers of Commerce and further education institutions. The aim of WebActivate is to provide small and medium-sized businesses with an effective online presence, while simultaneously giving practical training to hundreds of unemployed people in Cork, Galway and Dublin and improving their employment prospects. The pilot programmed commenced in August 2010 and will run until December 2010. www.webactivate.ie
